Review: Naturalmente Shampoo & Conditioner

I can't lie, I'd not heard of Naturalmente before. But it is newly launched in the UK being and Itlaian brand that works with natural and traditional products to give naturally beautiful hair. I was lucky enough to try a couple of the products out and I must say, they're rather different from the average shampoo and conditioner and well worth talking about. So lets go!

As always I've included a summary at the end :)

The Basics
Naturalmente sell hair products that have plant based ingredients and 100% biodegradable packaging. I don't talk too much about environmental etc things, but actually it's quite a big thing for me, I spent 4 years studying Conservation Biology. Random fact for you there! The shampoo I have is Rosemary & Lavender Shampoo* (£9, 250ml) and the Fruit Acids Conditioner* (£9, 250ml). Although you can also buy smaller sizes (like I have here) for £2.60. Both (and all the other products) are SLS and paraben free

What did I think?
Shampoo - It may sound odd, but I didn't look at the claims of the products too closely before using as I wanted to see what I thought without being influenced by what the claims were. The shampoo is designed to be detoxifying and purifying for an oily scalp. Without knowing this I thought that this was very cleansing, leaving my hair feel very clean, but not stripped. Overall - impressed.

Conditioner - I have to warn you, this one smells like Calpol! It doesn't bother me too much as it doesn't really linger though, so not too much of an issue. This conditioner is meant for detangling and moisturising of all hair types. I have quite fine hair that's prone to getting oily. But with this conditioner I've found my hair to feel hydrated, not just artificially soft like some hair products, more like my hair is healthy! I've also found that it didn't get prematurely oily either.

The Good - Biodegradable packaging, do what they say they will, SLS free, paraben free, makes my hair feel healthy.

The Not so Good - Quite pricey for haircare!

Would I Repurchase? I'm toying with the idea - I'm more swayed by the conditioner.

Price & Availability - £9 each, Naturalmente's Website

I hope that review was helpful - I must say my hair does feel very healthy after using these products. They're not the cheapest, I'll be the first to admit it, but perhaps as a treat once a week to maintain healthy hair - I can't decide whether to purchase a fullsize! I'm more swayed by the conditioner! I'd love to hear what your favourite shampoo & conditioner is?
