We made it to twenty! If I was to look back on the MakeUp Mix-Up what I'd really want to see is some variation in the looks I'd created. If you're new here you might be a little confused, so I better explain what I'm on about! Every Monday I go lucky dipping through my make-up stash and pick out 5 products at random with the aim of firstly using them a little bit during the week and secondly to create a look using all five towards the end - no matter how crazy the colour combination!
Accessorize Merged Blush - Bombshell
This is one of the first products I bought after I started blogging and my first delve into the brand. Although called a blush this is one of those products that is a bronzing blush. Being baked this has the beautiful glowy finish and works quite well with a lot of looks - making my life a little easier with the look!
Accessorize Lip Gloss - Celebrity
Again from Accessorize and again an easy colour to work with as it's quite sheer! One thing that's worth saying about these is that they have a very strong vanilla scent to them - you can smell it through the packaging! Which I'm sure will be good or bad depending on your preferences.
No7 Metallic Eyes Pencil - Smoky Gold
(Colour Discontinued, others available for £6.50, Boots)
This is one of my favourite eyeliner formulas and with the £5 off No7 vouchers floating around at the moment you could pick these up for just £1.50 - can't get better than that. Infact I'm thinking I might have to make a trip into town and use the No7 voucher I have sat in my purse!
Fyrinnae Loose Eyeshadow - Warrior Mage
This is one of my favourite indie eyeshadows ever it's just beautiful. Much like a lot of Fyrinnae shadows this has a really beautiful and unique colour - a brand well worth checking out if you like to play with colour! This particular one is a shimmery khaki shade with cornflower blue microglitter in it - a lot prettier than it sounds!
ELF Brightening Eye Colour - Glam
(£1.50, ELF's Website)
This is the only product this week that I think may cause me some issues when putting the look together and also one of my least favourite ELF quads (I have a lot of them!). I will try and get one of the pinks into the look, but it's nice to know I can fall back on that glittery black shade!
Overall this week I'm pretty happy with the colours and products I've pulled out. I haven't quite decided what kind of look I want to go for yet, but if you have any requests feel free to let me know!
