The Monday MakeUp Mix-Up #19

I didn't get a MakeUp Mix-Up post up (how many times can I say up!) last week as I was super busy! But I'm back this week with my lucky dipping mix. If you're new here then you probably won't know that the idea of these posts are a little different than the 'Shopping the Stash' posts as towards the end of the week I have to get creative and get create a look using all the products - which sometimes can be a challenge! But hopefully by the looks of this weeks products, it won't be too bad this time around!

BarryM Eyeshadow Pencil - No. 2
(£4.59, Boots, Superdrug & BarryM's Website)
I never hear people mention these. Ever! But it's a seriously good product. Much like the Maybelline Colour Tattoos these stay on the eyes all day without creasing - that's without a shadow to set them as well. But actually from the one Colour Tattoo I've tried I actually prefer this as it has a stronger and more even pigmentation. However saying that this colour is rather warm toned on me so doesn't get much love!

Venomous Cosmetics Loose Shadow - Dragon's Lair
(Discontinued, Venomous Cosmetics)
I went through a period last year where I was literally obsessed with this Indie brand and have collected a rather embarrassingly large collection of their beautiful shadow samples. If you haven't had a look at them before you really should - samples start at just $1! This particular shade was from a limited edition collection and is a royal blue with a golden sheen - which should go perfectly with the BarryM Eyeshadow Pencil

17 Tattoo Me Semi Permanent Liquid Eyeliner*
(£4.99, Boots)
I was so happy to pick out this black liner as the drawer I delved in to get this has some crazy colours/glitters/metallics - you get it, going on! So a black to go with my bright blue eyeshadow was much more welcome than pink glitter! This is actually a fab liner (albeit a bit thick) which does as it suggests and literally stays put all day.

Sleek Blush - Fenberry
(Shade discontinued)
This lovely deep brick red matte blush which was part of a limited edition collection the Christmas before last, which I hate to admit I had forgotten about a little. It's a shame though as this blush is lovely on my pale skin during colder months to give the flushed 'I've been out in the cold, but still look good' look! But judging by this weeks weather I think we have more cold to come!

MUA Intense Kisses Lipgloss - Smooch
(£2, Superdrug & MUA's Website
Very recently I was raving about how much I love these. So to pick one out was quite nice - although how a glittery slightly orange gloss is going to go with the other products I've picked out is another matter! But nonetheless I will make it work! If you wanted to check out my swatches of all the other shades you can see it here - link

Overall I don't think we've done too bad this week on the colour front, although the blush colour worries me slightly! This week I'm thinking a bold blue and gold eye for the look, perhaps arabic inspired? We shall see! Thanks for stopping by :)
