This month I haven't really been too experimental with make-up, generally just going for simple looks for day to day wear. That being said, I have rediscovered and discovered some gems that are totally worthy of being shared! For those of you that would rather listen and watch me talk about my favourites there is a video at the bottom, with some bonus fashion favourites too!
MUA Pro-Base Fixing Mist
(£4, Superdrug & MUA's Website)
I'd never really understood the obsession with fixing sprays until I met this one. Basically it's magic in a bottle. It makes my foundation last a lot longer and keeps oiliness at bay. It does have a slight scent to it, but nothing horrible or lasting! You also get a very decent 60ml of product. Full review here - link.
MUA Intense Kisses Lipgloss - Kiss & MakeUp
(£2, Superdrug & MUA's Website)
I'm sure it's no secret that I am totally obsessed with these seriously pigmented glosses. This shade is not really a nude, but still perfect for everyday wear. I may have been really naughty and bought the remainder of the shades I didn't have in the 50% off sale... (swatches coming soon!).
ELF Baked Eyeshadow - Burnt Plum
(£3.75, ELF's Website)
Now that I'm sat writing this, I get the funny feeling I may have already mentioned it in a favourites post? If so that just shows how much I love it! Colour wise it's a maroon shade, which I've reviewed here - link. I'm also wearing it in my profile picture up at the to.
Fresh Tinted Lip Treatment - Sugar Rose
(Birchbox Sample)
I really like this, mainly for the smell and that it lasts really long on my lips. However I don't really see it having any tint on my lips. Do I think it's worth the price though? In one word, no.
Accessorize Bronzing Block - Shade 4
(£4-5, Superdrug)
Not really a bronzer, but it works really nicely as a glowing blush/highlight. The formula is not great, very powdery. But for me the finish makes up for it and I've been wearing this a lot!
Seba Med Anti-Dry Night Intensive Cream
(Glossybox Sample)
This stuff is far too hard core for my face. But earlier in the month when we had lots of snow and ice I managed to fall over and graze my hand (smart I know!). And this stuff has been a miracle worker on the dry cracked skin that grazes leave behind. I may have to purchase a full tube for my first aid drawer if I can find it for sale!
The Body Shop Eye Definer - Rich Brown
(£9, The Body Shop)
I'm been using this so much this month, but it's not really a particularly good product and doesn't deserve a place here. However this is generally just me saying I've been enjoying brown eyeliners this month! This one is quite hard, so drags on the eye, a redeeming feature is the gorgeous shade of brown that it is!
There's quite a mix of products going on this month isn't there! I'd love to hear what you've all been loving so feel free to tell me in the comments, or just leave a link to your favourites post! And I'll speak to you soon, Hannah

I love e look of fresh lip balms I see all the American girls talking about them. There is a fresh store in London so I know where to go but no idea how much they are? I know they are expensive but do you know the exact price? Thanks, Hannah! xx
ReplyDeleteIt's £15.50 according the card I got in Birchbox - pretty pricey!
DeleteThe mua fixing spray looks amazing
ReplyDeleteAnd it is amazing as well!
DeleteI love the MUA setting spray, i actually think its better than the Mac Fix+. It works as well as the Victoria's Secrets Face Prime for lasting power, cheaper too. Ive been using it for when i have liquid foundation on.
