A 'Cheeky' ELF Haul - with swatches!

Yes, this is a no buy fail! But I'm justifying it to myself as it was 48% off and I'm pretty sure I was going to buy these anyway! I'm going with the low buy mantra though, and it seems to be going okay! As for the 'Cheeky' title, it kinda had a double meaning, as every single product is something that would go on the cheeks - I can't really justify buying anymore eyeshadows or lip products for a bit!

All prices are the original prices

ELF HD Blush (£3.75)
Superstar & Showstopper
Can you believe the website says these have a 'soft-focus effect that is great for everyday use'. Those are definitely not the words I'm using after swatching them! But I'm thinking a stipple brush and then buffing my just used foundation brush over the blush will help to diffuse the colour and make it look beautiful. I will make these work, and report back!

ELF Baked Bronzer (£3.75)
St Lucia
Recently I've been having a bit of a thing for highlighting my cheekbones and have rather liked using a baked eyeshadow for the job, however it's a duo and so I have to be super careful - or else I get bright purple on my face! So I thought I'd try this. I haven't tried it on my face yet, but I'm thinking it may be a tad too dark for that. We shall see!

ELF Baked Blush (£3.75)
Rich Rose
Believe it or not I only have a couple of baked blushes, but they both have such a beautiful finish to them that I wanted to try one of the new ELF ones. I decided on Rich Rose, but now that I have it, I'd definitely say it's more of a coral shade! But it has that beautiful glowy finish I associate with baked products, this will be great for summer!

ELF Maximum Coverage Concealer (£3.75)
Ivory
I was a little dubious of this as in the past ELF face products have been super yellow on me. But this pleasantly surprised me and is only very slightly yellow toned. I've yet to try this on my face, but the texture feels nice and light on my hand as a first impression!

ELF Contouring Blush & Bronzing Cream (£3.75)
St. Lucia
You may know that I'm rather fond of the regular powder version of this duo, so when I saw this I knew it had to be mine! On first impressions the texture is really creamy, with some good pigmentation. The blush is a beautiful pinky coral shade and the bronzer perhaps too dark for me - we shall see!

ELF Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder (£3.75)
Antigua & Turks Caicos
Up until recently ELF only had one shade of the Blush & Bronzing Powder, but luckily for us they have released a couple of new shades - these things are perfect for travel! Antigua has a bright dolly pink shimmery blush and Turks Caicos has a more nudey bronze blush. The bronzers are also slightly different between the two for those interested.

I think I'm sorted for blush for some time now - not that I really needed anymore anyway! If anythings caught your eye here and you wanted a review do let me know and I will get testing! As always thanks for stopping by and I'll speak to you soon, Hannah

    1. It's only a min spend of £30 for free shipping :) Usually with the codes the min spend is before the code is applied - this cost me ~£16 :)

  7. Wow, I thought thought those HD blush swatches were of a lipstick at first. They're definitely too pigmented for me to deal with but I think I'll try one of the bronzing duos. Thanks for swatching everything in this post, it's been useful. :)

  8. would love a review on the baked prodz, I have my eye on them but am trying not to spend for a while... I'd like to know if in your opinion there is a lot of difference between normal and baked blushers, eyeshadows, etc, apart from being able to use them wet. would also love a review of the new contouring blush and bronzer colours! sorry, am asking for too much from you I know!! xxx

    1. Baked products tend to have a really nice glowing finish in short. And of course that's not too much to ask, but it will take me some time for me to get through them all :)

    2. Thanks lovely youre a star. I like the baked blusher glow in ur swatch, but i am a little older than you and i fear it might emphasize fine lines and pores, thats whats stopping me from getting these. I think i will try them out anyhow when elf have another discount offer. I can always use them on other people if they dont work for me, or as giant eyeshadows. If u get the chance please can u use the blush or bronzer in one of ur FOTD posts. Good luck with uni ur the best!!!

    3. Exactly, they can always be used as eyeshadows, infact some blushes actually look better on the eyes! Will try and use them, yes :) And thank you! x

  10. Hi! Please would you review the baked bronzer and the baked blush because they look gorgeous! Thank you! :)

  11. I'm so undecided on the HD blushes! They look so gorgeous but so scary, especially for me as I've never used anything other than powder blush so they seem super intimidating haha. I really want to try the St Lucia cream but again, never used anything except powder and it's always out of stock. Would you maybe do a tutorial on using the St Lucia blush/contour cream? I'd love that!

also, I'd really appreciate it if you could maybe check out my blog! we seem like kindred spirits with a love of beauty products and I don't have any followers yet haha :( so I'd really appreciate it if you could maybe check it out?♥♥♥
