It's Monday and the start of a new week. Apart from being the start of the working week, it's also the day I play a little switch up with my make-up and go lucky dipping into my stash. This week I'm pretty happy with the products I've picked out, they don't completely match, but there's not horrible clashing of colours like there can be some weeks so hopefully the FOTD will be fun - check back Friday for that :)
BarryM Dazzle Dust - 99
(£4.59, Boots & Superdrug)
If you live in the UK and haven't tried a Dazzle Dust, you need to get yourself to the shops and give them a swatch! They sell a huge variety of colours that can be used both wet or dry for shadow/liner/blush/highlight. Shade dependent of course! This particular one is a lovely blue toned purple with golden shimmer. Very nice!
Fyrinnae Loose Shadow - Biker Chic
($2.25, Fyrinnaes Website)
If you haven't heard of Fyrinnae before they are an Indie company that sell some beautiful eyeshadows - many of them rather unique. This particular shade is a very blue toned turquoise glitter held in a matte black base - it looks beautiful applied wet as a liner! Picking this up has made me lust over the website again, so many pretties!
No7 Metallic Eyes Pencil - Copper
(This shade was limited edition, but others available for £6.50, Boots)
If you've been reading my blog for a while, you may know that I have a small (large) obsession with this line of eyeliners. They apply really smoothly and just last on they eyes really nicely once set down. Infact I would say they are comparable to the Urban Decay 24/7 Liners, although I don't have any actual colour dupes!
Accessorize Diamond Lipgloss - Starlet
Another product that formula wise is alright - it's pigmented, vanilla scented and non-sticky. But it does have a lot of glitter/shimmer in it, which again is not so much my cup of tea. Glitter on my eyes however is another thing!
NYC Sun 2 Sun Bronzing Powder - Bronze Gold
Generally I quite like NYC, however this product, I really don't! The product is rather hard in the pan and rather orange toned as well. The next thing I'm going to say I don't like about it is completely my own fault for not noticing before buying, but this is also rather shimmery on the skin - which as I often use bronzers as contours is really not my cup of tea!
What do you think of this weeks mix? I'm quite happy with it actually - even though there's a couple of products that aren't my favourites. Although after trying the lipgloss on my lips again I feel I need to give it more of a chance! Anyway as always thanks for reading and be sure to stop back later in the week to see my look using these products! Hannah
