Review + Swatches: MUA Intense Kisses Lipgloss - Kiss and MakeUp

I've fallen a bit behind on the reviewing lately, what with all these 2012 favourites posts going on! But I plan to resolve this issue and am getting back on my reviewing train now after Christmas! First up I have a gorgeous lipgloss to share with you from MUA. I did review one of these lipgloss before in Stolen Kisses - link, which I loved. But I think I actually love this shade more!

The Basics

I'm going to start with the price today, which is £2, that way when I tell you about the product, you can appreciate how much of a bargain these are! Inside the pretty sleek looking packaging we have a very decent 5.1ml of product, that can be applied with a pretty standard doe-foot applicator. But all of this means nothing if there isn't some beautiful colours to pick up! But our luck is in as there's 8 beautiful shades to choose from! 

The Formula

If like me you're a hater of sticky lipglosses, you'll be pleased to hear that there's not even a hint of it in these lipglosses. What there is though is a heavy dose of pigmentation! I won't go quite as far as to say these are opaque, but they sure to pack a punch with some visible colour! The product does have a vanilla scent to it, I personally like it, but I'm sure there will be those that won't! As for longevity, I get around 3 hours wear from it, which I'm pretty happy with all else considered! 

Colour & Finish

I can't get enough of this, it's a perfect everyday colour, but with a slight bit of depth to it. It's not a shade I'd usually go for, being rather light to medium warm toned brown with red tones running through it. But actually I really like the colour and perhaps need to be a little more open minded colourwise! As for the finish, nice and glossy, without a speck of shimmer in sight!

The Good - pigmented, cheap, value, great everyday shade, nice vanilla scent, not sticky. 

The Not so Good - Nothing, That's a rare thing! 

Would I repurchase? Absolutely, I can't stop wearing this shade!
