Is it just me or do Collection (previously Collection 2000) have a thing for long names?! It seems like it anyway! But regardless of the name these liners have been a favourite of mine for some time now. Although I have recently rediscovered them after leaving them neglected for a little while - big mistake! And realised I had never properly shown you this gorgeous turquoise shade!
As always I've included a summary at the end :)
Despite the slightly confusing name, these are basically glitter liners. They come packaged in liquid form (not gel as the name may suggest) with a reasonably firm brush applicator. Inside there's 6ml of product, which for £2.99, is a very good deal in my eyes! I tend to generally apply these over black liner to add a little bit of something to an otherwise 'normal' look. In total there are 14 colour choices - which I think I need more of!
These a basically a liquid liner filled to the brim with bright glitter particles. They apply really nicely and evenly, which surprised me a little as I usually hate this style of applicator! As for longevity I find that these don't flake off, so no random glitter particles falling down my cheeks during the day - not that that is necessarily a bad look! One thing that's worth pointing out is that the base of this is tinted, and does stain when swatched - however when worn over black liner I had no problem.
Colour & Finish
The colour of the glitter in this is predominantly turquoise - leaning more towards being a green than blue. However there are a few pale blue and holographic shimmers thrown in there too just to make the colour more interesting and to give more texture. As already mentioned the base is tinted a matching colour which helps to make the colour stand out more. And the finish, of course, is glittery!
The Good - high glitter concentation, lots of bright colours available, lasts on the eyes, cheap, value, 6ml of product.
The Not so Good - Stains when swatched.
Would I repurchase? More than likely yes, I have a couple :)
Price & Availability - £2.99, Boots & Superdrug
I know it's not a new product today, but golden (or turquoise) oldies need a mention sometimes too! Talking of new things, have you seen the new Cover & Go Foundation Duo they have come out with? I'm intrigued! Anyway as always thanks for stopping by, Hannah
