I don't know what it is, but I seem to be drawn to lilac nail polishes like no other! I do really need to start resisting though as there's only so many lilac polishes one girl can need! Perhaps I ought to do some kind of comparison post an show you how the ones I have match up against eachother! Anyway shall we get on with this lilac shade!
What did I think?
This is a beautiful milky lilac shade, with just the right amount of colour in there to really make this purple pop! What makes this colour a little bit difference is that it has blue microshimmer in it, it's very subtle, but still pretty! The dry down time was a little longer than I've had before from Essie polishes, but they're nice and pigmented, with the pictures showing 2 coats and no to coat.
I do think Essie polishes are quite pricey in the UK, but they do have some beautiful and slightly different colours. I haven't quite decided if they're worth the £7.99 they charge for them in Boots, but I think I'd probably pick one up as a treat if I couldn't resist the colour! Anyway thanks for stopping by and I'll speak to you soon, Hannah

lovely colour! I can't wait to start wearing all my lilac polishes again.

I think I started early with Spring this year - I'm fed up of the snow!
DeleteOoh gorgeous, reminds me a little of Maybelline's Lilac Charm x
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried that one, but if it's a cheaper alternative that'd be great!
DeleteBeautiful :D
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely right!
Deletesuch a pretty colour! i'd love to see nail polish colours that are really similar to each other, i'm a nail polish hoarder and it'd be nice to see if i already have the colour to stop myself rushing out to purchase it again :)

It's quite unique with the really subtle blue shimmer, but I will get some comparisons up o show it against my other lilacs!
DeleteAlmost bought a similar shade of Essie polish today, but like you I can't quite decide whether parting with £7.99 for a polish is a little pricey. Would be interested to see if you had any Essie dupes in this kind of colour!
ReplyDeleteWould really appreciate it if you could follow my blog too :) http://betweentodaytomorrow.blogspot.co.uk/
I don't have any exact dupes due to this ones subtle blue shimmer, but I'll get a comparison post up of my lilacs to compare them all!
DeleteLovely colour, I love the majority of essie shades but i do struggle to hand over almost £8 for a nail polish.

It's just so expensive isn't it - especially for something to buy in Boots/Superdrug!
DeleteIt's a pretty shade..love it
ReplyDeletePerfect for spring as well!
DeleteAbsolutely gorgeous colour! I really love it! I've only just tried my first Essie nail polish this week too (although had a £2 off voucher from boots) and I know what you mean about it being quite pricey. I did find that it stayed on longer than others though, and the colours are so nice, I think I will be purchasing more! (Probably this one hehe!)
