I have recently been introduced to a very interesting and brand new British Nail Polish company. At the moment the line is quite small, but there's definitely some pretty colours to be had! Overall I really like the products, but have one big issue. There's no names on the bottles! So as this was a PR Sample I can't actually tell you what the shade name is! But an educated guess would tell me that it's either Arlet or Arlington! I do have a few shades, so expect to see some more of Bad Apple soon!
The Basics
Each one of these nail polishes are priced at £9.95*, not the cheapest, but you do get 14ml of product, which is rather a lot! The polishes are all made in the UK and are free from Camphor, Formaldehyde, Toluene and Parabens. The line is quite small at the moment, but hopefully as the company grows so does their colour choices. But they do have some pretty nail wraps - which I have to show you sometime soon too! They are available from the Bad Apple Website - link.
What did I think?
On first coat I was a little worried that I was going to need a fair few coats to get an opaque finish as it was rather sheer. But something worked its magic and actually I only needed two coats, which is shown in the pictures! I was also very impressed with the drying time, my first nail was properly dry as I finished my last nail. I haven't had a proper chance to test the wear yet. But so far so good. As for the colour, in synthetic light it's a lovely metallic medium green shade, but in the sunlight it gives a beautiful blue duotone. Mermaid nails!
Sorry about the lack of Nail posts recently I broke one of my nails really short so that it hurt (trying not to got TMI here!), so didn't want to show you my hand! But my nails look much more normal now, although a lot shorter than before! But back to normal now, I have a lot of polishes lined up. Speak to you soon, Hannah

It's awesome isn't it!
DeleteThat's actually a really nice colour, I've never heard of them but their prices are rather high! I suppose if it's not full of bad things then it's worth it!
