As you may know, this week MUA had a 50% off offer, which is a pretty amazing deal! Sadly the deal has finished now, but I did (naughtily) pick a few things up. As you may know, I'm currently on a no buy, but my lovely boyfriend was kind enough to get me these things, so I wasn't breaking it right? Anyway recently MUA released a whole bunch of face items, I don't have all of them, but I have most and wanted to get a little post up to show you what is available - but reviews will be appearing in the coming weeks!
All prices listed are regular prices.
Pro Base Complexion Kit - Ivory (£6)
This little kit comes in 3 different shades (none going particularly dark), each one containing a cream to powder foundation, cream concealer and cream highlight. On first glance it seemed too deep/yellow toned. But I put it on this afternoon and actually once powdered it was fine. On the note of powdering, I didn't find that the foundation was cream to powder, just cream.

Pro Base Fixing Mist (£4)
This one didn't actually come in on my order, I already owned it. I have also done a full review on the product, which you can find here - link. But in short I actually really like it, the spray keeps my foundation looking nice all day and reduces oiliness that what usually appear towards the end of the day. All in all, a winner!
Matte Perfect Primer (£4)
This primer is on the smaller side, having only 15ml in it. But to be honest if it's nice, then the value is still pretty good! I haven't used this yet, but I squirted a bit out and the product is tinted, much like the Benefit Porefessional and Too Faced Primed & Poreless - both of which I like, so I have high expectations for this! This MUA one is also silicone based, so should be great for those worried about large pores.

Hide & Conceal Cover Up Stick - New Formula (£1)
I haven't tried the old formula, so I'm not going to be able to tell you how this has changed. But I hope that after I've had a chance to test it I'll be able to tell you what I think about it. From swatching it seems alright, although I'm not convinced it has the best coverage. But we shall see!
| Hide & Concealer Cover Up Stick + Cover & Conceal Wand |
Cover & Conceal Wand - Ivory (£1.50)
I probably didn't need to buy another concealer, but it's one of those products that A) gets used and B) I'm always on the hunt for a brilliant one. Although I'm not sure the second excuse is valid as I have a few I'm obsessed with already! Again I'm not convinced on the coverage after swatching on my hand, but it hasn't made it to my face yet so I'm reserving judgement a little!
Of the products here I think I'm most excited for the primer - I'm hoping it'll cure my craving for the two high end options I mentioned! But the face palette is also pretty exciting as I've never seen anything quite like it before! Have you tried anything from the new MUA face lines yet? Hannah

Definitely looking forward to trying the matte primer most as well, love the one from their original range so considering the matte one is smaller, I just hope it's worth the same price! So glad you like the fixing mist, I've used hairspray for a long time so maybe I'm due an upgrade! xx

I used to figure skate when I was younger and always they always used to use hair spray to set my make-up for shows and competitions - you've brought back some memories there!
DeleteThe Pro Base Complexion Kit sounds really interesting! I've read so many good reviews on the fixing spray, and with their prices you can't go wrong!

Absolutely, the prices are what keeps me going back to MUA!
DeleteThink I might have to try out the primer. I've tried the matte foundation and wasn't overly keen, maybe using the primer might change my mind. Great post :)

I think (don't quote me on that) that MUA ship internationally. So might be worth having a look!
