Whats in my Glossybox? December 2012!

Is it just me or do Glossybox seem to be shipping later and later in the week these days? I usually receive my box on a Wednesday, but I only got mine yesterday evening! But regardless, I still have my box here to play with! This month we've had a change up of colour, with a glossy silver box and star patterned paper. The menu as I like to call it is also a little different this month, being more like a pamphlet than an info card!

This months box has a £23.74 value!

Inside this months box...
Seche Nail Lacquer - Iconic
Sleek True Colour Lipstick - O.M.G!
Mary Greenwell Eau de Parfum - Lemon
Rituals Magic Touch Cherry Blossom & Rice Milk Whipped Body Cream
Sebamed Anti-dry Night Intensive Cream
Kryolan for Glossybox Blusher - Glossy Rosewood

Glossybox it is basically a monthly sample subscription for £10 (+p&p), but you can find out more here.

Seche Nail Lacquer - Iconic
Price for Fullsize - 14ml, £9.95
Size & Value of Glossybox Sample - 14ml, £9.95
My Thoughts - When I first saw it I was not liking the colour I'd been given. But after putting it on my nails I actually have to admit that I really like it. It's a very glossy metallic red, perfect for Christmas! A NOTD will appear in the review of this months box!

Sleek True Colour Lipstick - O.M.G!
Price for Fullsize - 3.5g, £4.99
Size & Value of Glossybox Sample - 3.5g, £4.99
My Thoughts - Oh I do love Sleek! And don't have any of their red lipsticks so this was greatly appreciated. But saying that I can see that some people might not be impressed to have a highstreet product, but for me, I'm happy!

Mary Greenwell Eau de Parfum - Lemon
Price for Fullsize - 50ml, £60
Size & Value of Glossybox Sample - 1.5ml, £1.80
My Thoughts - I don't like this! It's very sophisticated, mature and heavy scent. So not suited to a 22 year old fun loving student!

Rituals Magic Touch Cherry Blossom & Rice Milk Whipped Body Cream
Price for Fullsize - 70ml, £5
Size & Value of Glossybox Sample - 70ml, £5.
My Thoughts - I do think it smells nice and actually leaves my skin super soft. But how many creams does one girl need, I keep getting them in my boxes!

Sebamed Anti-dry Night Intensive Cream

Price for Fullsize - 50ml, £9.99
Size & Value of Glossybox Sample - 10ml, £2
My Thoughts - Again, what's with all the creams! This particular one won't be used too much though as I don't tend to suffer too much with dry skin. But the idea seems good!

Kryolan for Glossybox Blusher - Glossy Rosewood

Price for Fullsize - N/A
Size & Value of Glossybox Sample - N/A, this is a bonus product not available to buy
My Thoughts - For a bonus product this is pretty good. The colours rather pale and matte, but as I have pale skin anyway I can't see this a being a problem!

Not too bad this month! I'm not ecstatic with what I got, but I am happy, so not too many grumbles here. As always I'll have a full review up of the products in around a week or so and possibly even a separate review for that Sleek lipstick if you want it? As always thanks for stopping by and I'll speak to you again soon, Hannah

  3. I own the sleek lipstick and its a lovely orangey red! The box this month seems good value altogether. Sebamed is a good brand for oily or spot prone skin my sister uses it as she gets acne with a lot of creams. Wuld luv to read ur review on the sleek lippie and also on the K blusher! I own a lot of Kryolan prodz and they r usually very good quality for the price although better known as stage and tv make up. You probably know all this already so will shut up now! xxx

  7. Far, far better box than the GlossyBox in Canada! We got discontinued Revlon nail polish, some got 5 year old Avon lipgloss, eyegloss. Two moisturizers and foil packs of shampoo.

Major unhappiness. Oh, and our boxes come so late that we pay for them the first week of the month and they are usually shipped after the 23rd. Depending where in Canada you live, you are lucky to get them the same month as you paid for them!

    1. oh no, that's rubbish, I must say there's a bit of a delay between paying and delivery - not that bad though!
