Review: NSpa Hot Cloth Polish

Earlier in the year I was a massive fan of hot cloth cleansers, they just did the job for me and left my skin feeling lovely. My personal favourite was Superdrugs own one, both for it's quality and value. But I was recommended to try the NSpa one, available from Asda. Since my hot cloth cleanser obsession I've actually discovered the oil cleansers, but I ran out for around a month recently and have been back to this one, unfortunately!

The Basics
The packaging for this product is pretty swanky, coming in a pump bottle, complete with lid! I do have to say that the first one I bought didn't actually work, so I had to buy a replacement. Inside the box, you also get a muslin cloth, which is always appreciated! The bottle contains a very reasonable 150ml of product, claiming to be suitable for all skin types, including sensitive - incase you were wondering, my skins pretty normal. This is available from Asda for £7.

The Ingredients
This product does seem to have some good ingredients in it including Ginseng, Vitamin E, Cocoa Butter, Sweet Almond Oil and Neroli Essential Oil. And not all right at the bottom of the ingredients list as we sometimes see! Judging from the ingredients and my experience with the product, I would say this might be more suited to drier skin than my own.

What did I think?
I'm not gonna lie, I'm not a fan of this and I am finding myself trying to use it up somehow - I hate wasting things! I find that once applied and massaged into the skin it is a nightmare to remove. I've been using hot water and the muslin cloth but it seems to leave a thick residue on my skin. Which only seems to be removed with another cleanser. I also didn't find that it removed make-up particularly well (which it claims it does). But my skin did feel soft afterwards!

It wasn't a particularly positive review today was it? But I can't help but to be honest. It might be worth noting that there are a lot of really good reviews floating around, so you may want to have a quick google and check out some other reviews before taking my word to seriously, but this is my honest opinion of the product! Thanks for stopping by, Hannah
