Review + Swatches: MUA Sheer Finish Lipgloss - Happy Days

So sheer lipgloss probably isn't the most appealing sounding product for everyone. But for those that like something more subtle this is a fab product to go with. Sheer isn't usually my thing, but actually this has won me over and I've actually rather enjoyed wearing this strangely!

As always I've included a summary at the end :)

The Basics

The sheer finish lipglosses come in the squeezy tubes with plastic applicators that I'm sure you've come across before! Inside there's 15ml of product, which is quite a lot! In total there's 8 shades available although personally I don't think I'd need to get all of them, being a self confessed sheer product and all! And just FYI they currently have 35% off on their website, you know you want too...

The Formula

This isn't the thinnest formula of lipgloss, but not horrible and thick either, it's just sitting somewhere comfortably in the middle. There's also no stickiness to it, but I think for most people is the preferred format! There is a slight scent to the product, it's fruity but not overpowering! As for longevity, I get 3 hours wear from this, which for £1 and 15ml of product is pretty darn impressive!

Colour & Pigmentation

We've already established that this is quite a sheer product, but there is a slight colour that shows though, a subtle yellow toned milky pink. In the tube you can see some very subtle golden shimmer, but on the lips this is pretty much non-existent. And for the finish? Glossy glossy glossy!

The Good - cheap, value, pigmented, 15ml product, fruity scent, looks quite nice on!

The Not so Good - some may not like the scent, sheerness isn't to everyones taste.

Would I repurchase? Not sure, it's a good product, but I'm not sure that I'd really need that many shades, maybe 1 or 2 more can be justified!

Price & Availability - £1, Superdrug & MUA's Website

And don't forget they have 35% off on the MUA Website at the moment, so this would cost you just 65p if you bought it today! That's a bargain and a half! And quickly a warning in advance there won't be a post tomorrow as it's my birthday and I'm going out for a meal with my friends. Unfortunately uni's been to busy for me to prewrite anything :( Thanks for stopping by, Hannah
