I'm quite new to BeautyUK Lipsticks, with this being the second one I've tried. The other one I reviewed for you was Passion, you can find the review here (link). But having tried two now I'm pretty happy with the consistency in quality and am eager to get to Superdrug and try some other shades, some of the reds look gorgeous! Infact all the lip products BeautyUK sell are great quality!
As always I've included a summary at the end :)
The Basics
BeautyUK is available from Superdrug, but they also have a website, which you can shop on here - link. The lipsticks are each priced at a very reasonable £3.49 and come in a large variety of shades, even including a black! One of the other things I really like is the packaging, it's a lovely sleek black colour with a little section on the end that shows you the colour of the lipstick inside - very handy. Also if you pull this little bit off the end there's actually a matching solid lipgloss in there!
The Formula
Like the the other shade I tried this has a great texture to it. The application is really easy and applies smoothly without dragging. The longevity is also pretty good on this considering the finish is a little glossy - around 3 hours on me. Another thing that I like about these is that they have a nice mint scent to them - not overpowering though! I find it gives a tiny amount of tingle, but a very tiny amount!
Colour and Pigmentation
This has an opaque coverage with one coat, so what you see is what you get! The colour though is a slightly deepened purpley fuchsia with a strong blue sheen to it - definitely one to make your teeth look whiter!
The Good - cheap, value, pigmented, good colour choices, makes your teeth look whiter, packaging.
The Not so Good - Some may not like the minty scent.
Would I repurchase? Absolutely, I have my eye on Naughty and Sunset now!
Who might like it? Anyone who likes a pigmented lipstick!
Price & Availability - £3.49, Superdrug & BeautyUK's Website
And that's the review for today! I really hoped you enjoyed reading it and maybe have a look at these if you pop into Superdrug. I don't tend to hear a lot about BeautyUK but I actually like a lot of their products! Anyway thanks everyone for stopping by and I'll speak to you again soon, Hannah

Can u compare them with mua lipsticks..which r best..kindly let me know if possible
ReplyDeleteooo that's a hard one! MUA might slightly have the upper hand, but both are very good. There seems to be more difference in colour options though with BeautyUK having more brighter shades and MUA more nude/red ones. And of course the scent - MUA is vanilla. Hope that helped somewhat!
