It seems I can't even got to the supermarket without looking a make-up, I think I'm obsessed! I went to buy food and came home with nail polish. I also had a look at the Barbara Daly lipsticks and was rather tempted as they were smooth, pigmented and smelt amazing, but coming in at £9, I made myself resist! However this cute little duo was not something I couldn't pass up.
The Basics
This duo is available exclusively as Tesco and costs just £5, which considering that's the price of a single nail polish from them, it's a pretty good deal! It's a limited edition duo for Christmas, containing a normal nail varnish and a glitter top coat, each with 7ml of product. I couldn't decide which way to swatch them for you, so I decided pink with a glitter accent nail (it took a lot of glitter coats!). But I think they'd also look great layered!
What did I think?
I was pretty impressed with the dry down time, quicker than a lot of brands I've tried anyway. The brush was quite cheap, but it did the job and didn't leave those horrible streaks!
Razzle - This is the bright fuchsia, but strong red tones to it, it's a bright girly shade. I'm not quite sure if I like it though, pinks not really my colour! Two coats are shown in the picture.
Dazzle - The real reason I bought this duo! This is a full on glitter shade, with tiny silver holographic sparkles, medium sized glitters in a variety of colours including blue, green and copper and there are also some larger hexagonal glitters too.
Is it bad that I bought a duo just for the glitter polish? I have a bit of a thing for glitter nail polishes at the moment! Saying that I only have a handful, so if you have any favourites it'd be great to hear what you're loving! As always thanks for stopping by and I'll speak to you again soon, Hannah
