The Monday Mix Up #1

Being a beauty blogger means that my make-up collection has grown considerably in the last year or so. And although I love most of it dearly, it does tend to get forgotten for new releases and other products I'm testing. So I decided to adopt this little feature once a week that I've seen a lot of other beauty bloggers doing. Basically each week I'm going to rummage through my stash and randomly pick out 5 products with my eyes closed. And then aim to wear them throughout the week. This way hopefully some forgotten things can get so much deserved loving! 

Sleek Blush - Pixie Pink

I pretty happy this popped out, Sleek blushes are a bit of a favourite of mine. They have a fab pigmentation and come in some really great colours. Pixie Pink is a lovely candyfloss pink shade, that works really well with my pale skin. And lovely with plum coloured eyes! 

ELF Shimmer Gloss - Pink

I'm not sure you can actually get this on the UK site, I got this in a Christmas set last year. But essentially it's a sheer pink, quite shimmery gloss. Great for a day when I want a toned down lip, but also nice over lipstick. I'm so-so about having picked this, it's very normal - does that make any sense!? 

BeautyUK Pearl Eyeliner - Stardust

I love the formula of these liners, so much so that I went out and brought the set. Maybe a rooky move as I always wondered what to do with the silver! And the gold for that matter. But it looks like I'm going to have to find something now! I'll report back next week on what I manage to do! 

ELF Liquid Eyeshadow - Sultry Satin

Ahh this has come back to haunt me again! If you remember about 6 months ago I wrote a pretty rubbish review of this as once sheered out it is exactly that, really sheer! And also cracks and flakes off! But I'm planning on trying it is a highlighter on my cheeks - gotta give it a try! 

ELF Shimmer Eyeliner - Iconic Ivory

I seem to have picked all ELF this time around, maybe it's a hint that I have a lot! It's so cheap though! Anyway this is a white shimmery liner that I've used on occasion on the inner corners of my eye. Time to give it some love! 

Fyrinnae Eyeshadow - Oberon

I have so many indie eyeshadow samples - they've practically filled up a whole drawer in my stash! Unfortunately I tend to forget about them, but they are among the most beautiful eyeshadows I own and really deserve to be brought out and used! I'm going to be delving in this drawer every week! This particular one is a really shimmery deep purple - bring on a smokey eye! 

I'm really looking forward to this new feature actually, to see what I find each week! It's also going to be fun to get some use out of some forgotten products. Let me know if you don't like this kind of post and I'll just keep the lucky dipping to myself! Thanks for stopping by, Hannah
