Review + Swatches: Glossybox October 2012

Last week I showed you all the lovely contents of this months Glossybox, which was probably one of my favourite yet! But every month I like to give a mini review of the products once I've had a chance to try them, it's not just show and tell here! So here we go with the review of this months Glossybox, the DIY edition!

What was in this months box?
  • Anatomicals Don't just Clean it woman, scrub it Body Scrub
  • Dermalogica 3 step day and night kit
  • Skinetica Anti-Blemish Solution
  • Yves Rocher Moisturizing Cream Lipstick - Mauve

Anatomicals Don't just Clean it woman, scrub it Body Scrub
(£3.49, 200ml)

What they say? A pink grapefruit body scrub that buffs with a bravura sense of charm and wit.

What I think? For me this doesn't have quite the intensity of skin buffing capability I usually enjoy. But as an all over subtle scrub intsead of a shower gel this works pretty well. The smells quite nice, not a really dry intense scent which can sometimes be over powering sometimes with citrus!

Dermalogica 3 step day and night kit
(£12 per kit)

What they say? Cleanse, tone and moisturise with the Day/Night 3-step mini kit.

What I think? Very impressed with this set, the face wash definitely does the job of cleaning my face, however it did leave my skin feeling rather dry - the moisturizer helped with that though! The toner is what impressed/scared me the most. Even after cleansing I sprayed some into a cotton pad and wiped it across my face and dirt came off!

Skinetica Anti-Blemish Solution
(£6.99, 100ml)

What they say? A unique solution for clearing skin blemishes, showing results in 2-3 days. Kind to skin with no side effects.

What I think? Not convinced in all honesty, I have been trying it, but haven't really noticed a difference compared to my usual Witch Blemish Stick. It also smells rather weird!

Yves Rocher Moisturizing Cream Lipstick - Mauve
(£14.50, 3.7g)

What they say? Perfect coverage from the first application: a smooth, supple luminous film covering the lips.

What I think? Love the consistency, really creamy, pigmented. And generally of really good quality, although the deep muted berry shade isn't quite my colour!

This was quite a good box this month, definitely good my £10's worth! Is it bad that I'm already excited for next months box? It's kinda like a mini Christmas each month, with a surprise present to myself! Couldn't get better than that! Thanks for stopping by, Hannah
