Glitter nail polish is probably the best thing since sliced bread, however I'm far to busy/lazy to remove it. Which leads me to rarely wear the stuff. But a few days ago I found myself stumbling through indie brands that created some stunning glitter top coats (Lush Lacquer for example - link). Which then led me to pull out my rather tiny glitter top coat collection and get me some glitter on! And I must say, I'm loving this bargain combo!
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Nail Colour - Slick Slate
(£1.49, Fragrance Direct)
Bargain if I do say so! The name doesn't really make it sound particularly appealing, but I promise you it's a beautiful colour! It's a medium taupe shade, with pretty purple tones to it. I didn't find the wide brush was particularly easy to work with, but for the price and colour I'm going to be satisfied!
W7 Nail Polish - Purple Dazzle
I always used to overlook W7 polishes thinking they were rubbish, but actually I've got a few now and I must say, they're surprisingly good for the price! It's a straight up purple glitter topcoat, and the coverage is great, the pictures show just one coat, but you can get full opacity with around three, not bad for such a cheap product!
Talking of nail polishes have you guys seen the brand new MakeUp Academy ones, I'm trying very hard to resist ordering but with magnetic, holographic and glittery shades to choose from it's more a game of how long I can last before I order! Anyway thank you all for stopping by, feel free to leave your polish recommendation and I'll speak to you again soon, Hannah
