2012 Empties: No. 8 Collection (2000) Lasting Perfection Concealer

I don't know what it is about finishing products up. But something about it is super satisfying. Maybe it's that using something up till it's all gone justifies me buying something else? Who knows, but you guys have told me you like to hear what I have to say once I've completely finished something up and I'm on a mission to see how many things I can use up in a year - I'm not doing so great so far!

What did I think?
This is a bit of a cult drugstore product here in the UK, having quite a big fanbase behind it. And I have to admit I'm one of those girls who likes it, although I still wouldn't say it was a perfect product. The texture is really nice and creamy, blending in nicely. The coverage is also fab, well a bit better than fab! But I do find that it can have a tendency to look slightly cakey on me, not my preferred look!  The shade I have is Fair, which is a good match for me, perhaps a touch lighter (yes lighter!) than my natural skintone.

Would I repurchase?
Oh yes! It wasn't a perfect holy grail product, but it sure did the job and did it well. And coming in at a very reasonable price and easy to get hold of it's a no brainer! I must say though I'm banning myself from buying a replacement till I've finished up another concealer though. Tell me off if I buy it!

Price & Availability - £4.19, Boots & Superdrug.

I'm not sure I've ever finished up a concealer before, there's a first time for everything really! I've never finished a blush, lipgloss or lipstick either though so maybe I just can't stay loyal to one product! I'm like a kid in a toyshop with make-up, that's probably a good way to describe it! Anyway I'll speak to you all soon, have a good evening, Hannah

  1. I've never bought this as the swatches are so thick that they make me cringe, haha x

    1. Haha, fair enough! It is a rather good product if you can get your head around the swatches!

I really appreciate all your lovely comments and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. But if you want a quick response try tweeting me, @MidnightViolet1 Thanks for reading my post, Hannah :)
