I have been promising this post for literally ages, but it is finally here. Eventually! I've also added in my Fine Glitter Dusts (GD) as I only have a few and they're pretty similar just more glittery! All my swatches are over Fyrinnae's Pixie Epoxy which is a sticky base, but any cream eyeshadow will make these stand out to their best! Also it's worth mentioning that they are loose pigmented eyeshadows that cost £4.59 from Boots & Superdrug. Much more pretty in real life - pictures do no justice!
Glitter Dust 23 (Black Purple) - This is a black based colour, which is more intense than the picture might suggest. And is laced with medium pinky purple glitter running through it!
34 (Cherry) - Despite being called cherry this isn't a red, but a shimmery bright purpley plum shade. Possibly the first one I ever got!
99 (Bright Indigo) - This one is a bright blue based purple that it pretty much matte, but with some very subtle gold shimmer running through it.
90 (Pearly Mauve) - Without sounding strange this is a purple version of cornflour blue. So yes blue based, on the lighter side and nice and shimmery too.
20 (Baby Blue) - This is a baby blue as the name suggests. It has a shimmery finish like most of the Dazzle dusts and leans a lot more silvery when sheered out or without a base.
78 (Kingfisher) - Kingfisher is a nice blued teal shade. In some lights/angles there is the subtlest golden green colour to it. Again one of my first Dazzle Dusts!
GD4 (Silver) - This is one of the more glittery Fine Glitter Dusts, having a very fine silver glitter base with lots of chunkier silver glitter in there too.
23 (Midnight) - This is a beautiful not too deep navy blue with some subtle indigo tones to it. No glitter, but a sort of pearly finish.
GD24 (Toffee) - A warm bronzey brown shade, which is of medium to light tone. This is a shimmery powder, but also has some silver glitter running through it making it something a little different.
11 (Charcoal) - Charcoal is exactly how I'd describe this, or a deep deep gunmetal shade. Again a shimmery finish, with some of this being silver, making the shade more interesting.
77 (Orange) - I would describe this as a candy orange if that makes sense, so leaning on the pastel side. It is also cooled down a little with the silver shimmer in it.
3 (Pink/Gold) - This one is a beautiful duotone shade. In some lights it is a beautiful warm pale pink and in others has a golden sheen to it. Would make a nice cheek highlight sheered out.
85 (Neon Pink) - Pretty much like the name says really, a bright neon pink shade with some shimmer in it. Not really a fuschia shade as there's no blue tones to it.
73 (Red) - This is a lovely cherry red with a pink base to it. Again shimmery.
Looking through these has made me realise how much I love these little pots of goodness! They're fab as most can be used on the eyes, lips and face. So very versatile! Theres also a huge colour selection, which excites me everytime I take a look - seriously! But anyway I hope you enjoyed this long overdue swatch session and I'll speak to you again tomorrow, H :)
PS - Did you want to see a look with any of these?

Would you believe I've never owned a Dazzle Dust? Obviously this has got to change seeing all those lovely purple and blues you've got...
ReplyDeleteThey are amazing! Definitely worth a look when you're at the shops anyway as they're so much prettier in real life!
