Glamour is one of the magazines that I'll actually read and vaguely enjoy, so when they have good free gifts I jump on it! Usually I'll just buy magazines for the gifts though, they draw me in! The current (July 2012) issue of Glamour costs just £2, so is a great price to pay for some Benefit mini's and a nice magazine to peruse aswell! For the past few summers Glamour have teamed up with Benefit and this year they've got some everyday essentials.
The Deal
There is a choice of three products available - The Porefessional Primer, That Gal Primer and Bad Gal Lash Mascara. All are mini's, but as I only have the Porefessional I can only tell you the size of that, which is a pretty decent 7.5ml - a great size for travel. There is only one product per magazine, but with the magazine being just £2, you can get one of each for just £6!
What did I think?
I didn't want to bore you all with a full review when this is more of a post making you aware of a good deal. But I wanted to share some thoughts. The first thing you notice is that this has a reasonably strong perfumed scent, which doesn't bother me too much, but if you have sensitive skin it might! It is silicone based, so does improve the look of pores, very similar to my favourite Too Faced Primed & Poreless. But it's not a miracle worker. I don't find it does that much for foundation longevity, but it does make the skin look more even.
Have any of you been out to get the July issue of Glamour yet? It always confuses me how the issue is for the next month, not the one we're in! For those who haven't picked it up It's probably worth mentioning that they have a page at the back saying next months free gifts are from Balance Me, a natural skincare company. With Face Wash, Balancing Moisturizer, Wonder Eye Cream or an Intense Lip Salve up for grabs.
