The title made this sound like it was a hard challenge! But actually it wasn't too bad! I got this little set of samples from the Garnier website - not for being a blogger, everyone could put in their details for one! Unfortunately they aren't giving samples of the Intensive 7 Day Lotion anymore, but they are now doing samples of their BB Cream - link here.
The Challenge
The challenge was pretty simple, they sent you 7 sachets of the Intensive 7 Day Softening Lotion (Shea Butter) and a little sticker thing to test the amount of dead skin cells you have. You start by using a sticker thingy to test your skin and you get started on using a sachet of the lotion a day for a week and then your skin again. Pretty simple really!
My Thoughts
I was actually rather impressed with this stuff! I'll be honest I'm not very good at remembering to apply something every single day so this did take me about 9 or 10 days to do. But actually my legs were super super soft even after the first use! And it lasted even after I'd finished using them! I will say as I don't usually use a body lotion this frequently this may have made it seem better. But actually that aside I was still very impressed with this after one use! I've even gone out and purchased the gradual tanning version - which is also really great!
So overall I found this challenge a great success. And Garnier succeeded too as I went and purchased a version of this cream! And maybe some of you will as well, definitely worth checking out though as it's great value at £2.99-£4.99 depending on the size you get. But that's all for today folks! I hope you liked this slightly different post today, H :)

I want to try the gel-cream version of this- thinking it would be a lighter option for the summer. Trouble is I have enough lotions and butters at the mo to sink a ship!
ReplyDeleteI have so many too! I justified it by getting the gradual tan one! You could do a deal with yourself and say use a few up then treat yourself to the one you want!
DeleteHow is the gradual tan? I recently bought the Dove one and blogged about it but I found it a bit sticky! I'm currently using up one I bought at least two years ago, is that a bit icky? Haha, feel bad about wasting it though!
DeleteOh, and I tried to buy the Pure Pacha gloss I liked the other day but the stall at Superdrug was so manky and they had all been opened. Grr, not impressed!
Not icky at all, I have creams that old I'd use! I didn't really like the Dove one either - I didn't find the effects that great (very subtle) but the Garnier one feels nice for me and has faster visible effects which is great if you're impatient like me!
DeleteThat's rubbish about Pure Pacha, keep trying it's definitely worth it! My local Boots can be like that with testers and then the shelves are always half empty!
oohh i got this too, loved the smell!
ReplyDeleteIts lovely isn't it! Not too in your face either though!
