What I use for a 5 Minute Face!

Today I was going to do a FOTD for you, but I haven't got much creativity flowing through me! So I've decided to show you the products I grab when I'm in a rush to do my make-up - usually because I've over slept! But there's always time for a couple of products in my eyes! And I thought it was worth sharing with you all! Hope you enjoy :)

17 BB Cream
I'm pretty shallow and do like something on my face before I walk out the front door. But I'm perfectly happy wearing this. It's so easy to apply, pretty much just like putting a moisturizer on! It's also cheap and looks nice on the skin. Infact I've nearly finished this up!

Barbara Daly Velvet Blush - English Rose
I don't always have time for blush, but if I do I use this cream one as it's quick and easy to wear and in a natural shade. You don't get much product here, but it's pretty cheap from Tesco so I'll get over it. I do sometimes reach for other blushes when I'm in a hurry - but it'll generally be something I'm testing at the time.

17 Falsifeye Mascara
And then I'll also go for a quick coat of mascara, this one is quite volumizing if you use a few coats, but with just one coat it'll give a more natural effect - especially now it's well used! But actually it's my only mascara that's not black - it's Brown Black, so looks better with a minimal make-up look!

MakeUp Academy Eyebrow Pencil - Blonde
This is a product that I use pretty much everyday, regardless of how much make-up I wear! It's just so easy to apply, nice and soft and looks pretty good - if I'm allowed to say so myself! It's also stupidly cheap - just £1 and is actually pretty long as well! I would repurchase and reuse this over and over. Just don't discontinue it MUA!

So pretty basic products! I will always add some kind of balm (usually tinted), which will be whatever's in my bag at the time! If I have a little more time I'll put a bit of Urban Decay Buck eyeshadow in my crease, just for a bit more definition. But the stars here are the BB Cream and Eyebrow Pencil! Anyway I hope you enjoyed this little post and feel free to share what you use in a hurry! Thanks for stopping by, H :)

  1. Hannah, I have a pretty similar routine to yours when in a hurry! Although I prefer powder blush as I find it quicker to blend out but that's just me. And I use a powder foundation applied with a large fluffy brush instead of a liquid one as I also find this quicker. I use a powder-cream foundation from a Spanish brand called Maderas, it's nice and cheap about 4 quid for 15 grams. Unfortunately I can only get it when I travel there on holiday...

    1. That Maderas foundation sounds good, The Body Shop do one too, I haven't tried it though! And it's obviously a fair amount more pricier!

    2. I didn't know the body shop did powder foundation, in fact I don't think I've ever bought any of their make-up, just some of their brushes and face washes. Must give their make-up a try sometime then! Also, going by what u guys r saying below, I should also try the 17 mirrorshine lipsticks, they sound lovely. x

    3. The Body Shops a little pricey for what it is really, and I've never been overly impressed considering the price. The 17 Lipsticks however are amazing - I can get a review/swatches of the ones I have up if you wanted? I'm surprised I haven't done one yet actually!

    4. yes please Hannah!! I would love to see swatches and reviews of the 17 lippies!! Re the body shop make up, I also think it a bit pricey for the quality of what I tested in-store, that's why I've never bought any, so it's good to know u confirm that Nx

    5. It's nice for me to know that I'm not the only one that thinks that too! Although I am slightly tempted by their upcoming Lily Cole Collection - we shall see! But anyway I will definitely get a post up for you, it may take a couple of weeks - but it's coming, I promise!
