It's been a while since I've done any Indie swatches for you all so as I only had time for a quick post today I thought I'd show you these three bright loose shadows from Venomous Cosmetics. I have them in sample size, which cost $1, a full size will set you back just $5.50. I've also created a look with all three which I've included at the bottom :) You can buy from Venomous Cosmetics here.
The Colours!
As you can see these are lovely and pigmented, which is helped along the way with Fyrinnaes Pixie Epoxy used as a base. The descriptions in 'commas' are taken directly from the site :)
Blue Ringed Octopus - 'Bright medium blue shimmer' I mostly agree with this, it's a beautiful blue, but the shimmer is very understated and is more closer to matte, only having a slight pearliness.
Boomslang - 'Sea green' This is a bright green teal it again has a slight pearliness to it, which shows better in the second swatch pictures.
Eyelash Viper - 'Medium Yellow Shimmer' Again I wouldn't really call this a shimmer, it has a similar finish to the two other shades. Colour wise this is a bright yellow with slight orange hints.
In the look I have used Eyelash Viper on the inner corner, Boomslang on the lid and Blue-Ringed Octopus with a matte black in the crease. For all other products check out my FOTD post for this look here!
Are you liking the brights? I do! They're great for Spring. The suns out and I'm in a great mood and feeling the bright colours! Talking of Spring has anybody seen the new 'Spring has Sprung' Collection from Venomous Cosmetics. It is times like this I wish I had money in my paypal! Might have to give it a miss :(
But anyway if you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me. And I hope you're enjoying the sun. Thanks, H :)

Blue Ringed Octopus looks SO beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI know right!
DeleteAre you wearing false eyelashes in the picture? Your eyelashes look amazing :) do tell what mascara you are using if its just that. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteIt's just mascara, about 50,000 coats(slight exaggeration) of the new Collection 2000 Multiplier Mascara (black & gold packaging). It's brilliant if you have patience for it haha! I'll be getting a proper review of it up this weekend hopefully!
