Review + Swatches: Barry M Glossy Tube Lip Gloss

I haven't included the name of this gloss in the title as it's not written on the packaging anywhere and I'm not 100% on it. After looking on the website I think that it's called Passion Pink (11), but there's always a chance I'm wrong. But I'm pretty sure there weren't any similarly coloured ones on the stand, so hopefully the pictures will help you hunt this shade down. It is available from Boots & Superdrug for £3.99.

As always I've included a summary at the end :)

The Basics
This lipgloss tube from BarryM comes in 12 different colour choices each containing a very reasonable 10ml of product. These come in the typical squeezy lipgloss tubes with a plastic applicator of a nice size and shape to dispense the product. It does have a very strong sweet candy type scent, which I personally love, but I understand it's not too everyones taste!

The Formula
These have a slighty thicker consistency to them, but are non-sticky on the lips. You can feel it on the lips though and taste it's candy scent! I do find that it's not the longest lasting, getting just over 2 hours wear from it, but the non-sticky glosses tend not too last as long in my experience. But I've had no problems with these drying my lips out, infact they feel rather soft once this has worn off!

The Colour & Pigmentation
In the tube this looks like a bright ever so slightly coraled hot pink. But it's actually a pretty sheer gloss so doesn't look as scary once on! It is mainly shimmer free, but there is a very subtle amount of pink shimmer to it that you can't really notice once on! The finish is very glossy though, leaning towards the wet look! Which makes this really great over a lipstick!

The Good - cheap, lots of product, really glossy, great for over lipstick or as a sheer colour alone, not sticky, non-drying.

The Not so Good - some might not like the strong scent (I love it!), nothing special colourwise, lasts around 2 hours.

Would I repurchase? Possibly, based on the fact I like the formula, but there'd have to be a really pretty colour as there's only so many sheer glosses a girl can justify!

Who might like it? Those looking for a nice and simple sheer gloss. And a sweet tooth might help with the scent!

The Bottom Line - I'm really loving this gloss and have used it loads, the colours nothing special, but the formula/scent is amazing!

So overall I'm really liking this gloss, it's perfect for everyday wear. And is something I can see myself reaching for a lot during the Spring/Summer. Ooo that's an idea! Would anybody like to see my favourite Spring lip colours/products? I'll see if I can get anything up if you do! But anyway thanks for stopping by, H :)
