Review + Swatches: 17 Blush & Glow - Peachy

This Spring 17 has released a lot of exciting new products a few of which I've purchased and will be reviewing in the coming weeks. But first up is this blush in Peachy. But coming up I have the other new blush in 'In Bloom' and some of their new lip stains - so pigmented, loving so far! This is available from Boots for £3.99.

As always I've included a summary at the end :)

The Basics
This paricular blush contains two different shades of blush, one much more shimmery than the other. But previous shades have had a blush and a highlight in them, which I personally preferred. The packaging has a clear lid which makes them easy to find in your stash, which is nice. I can never find any information about how much product these have in them which is a shame, but I have a fair old dip in my other one without hitting pan!

The Formula
The texture of this is nice and soft, but also well pressed so that it doesn't fling up a load of powder each time you use it. There is a little bit though, but nothing major! I find they're alright to apply, not the easiest to blend, but nothing horrible either, mediocre! As for longevity I was a little disappointed as I only get an average of around 4 hours wear from it. Although you may get a little longer as my cheeks aren't the biggest blush fan!

Colours & Pigmentation
I really like the pigmentation in these, it's not intense, but actually sometimes that's nice as it can make application easier. I have labelled the sides a and b, but obviously this will change depending on which way up you're holding the blush!

A - This is the more shimmery side of the duo with a pinky peach colour. It has a lot of golden shimmer running through it.

B -  This side is not as shimmery and has a rosey pink colour, which leans slightly peach. It has a pearly/matte finish to it, but also has a very slight amount of golden shimmer in it.

In the picture below I'm wearing both sides of this blush mixed together on my cheeks. The rest of the products are listed here.

The Good - Cheap, packaging, two different finishes, really nice colour for spring, pigmentation makes it easy to apply.

The Not so Good - can be awkward to get at just one colour, would have been nice to have a highlight like the old Blush & Go shades.

Would I repurchase? I guess it's colour dependent. I wasn't completely wowed by this, I preferred the older versions with a highlight.

Who might like it? Those that like to have a variety of finishes to travel with or in similar shades together. This is practical!

The Bottom Line - Not bad at all for the price, a few minor moans, but I'm hard to please haha!

I'll be getting a review up of the other new blush in the not too distant future, possibly in about a week - I need testing time! But in short it's more pink!

But anyway if you have any questions then don't hesitate to contact me. And thanks for stopping by I hope you enjoyed the review, H :)
