Review: Collection 2000 Multiplier Mascara

I wasn't originally going to get this new mascara, but once I'd seen the beautiful black and gold packaging and the description I was sold. By description I mean the packaging blurb! It's described as a 'Volume & Definition Mascara' both things I look for in my mascaras! Anyway this is available for a bargainous £4.99!

As always I've included a summary at the end :)

The Basics
This mascara comes in a slightly larger than average black tube with gold detail. Like a fair amount of other Collection 2000 things I have, this does have a bit of an issue with the writing rubbing off. But it's what's inside that counts! It has a plastic wand, covered in loads of tiny little 'bristles'. It also comes with 8ml of product in the shade Ultra Black. I don't think there's any other colour options.

What do I think of this mascara?
I really like how it lengthens and defines my lashes whilst giving them some volume. Although it does take quite a lot of layers to give the beautiful (If I say so myself) lashes you see below. Which does frustrate me a little as I know it can be an amazing mascara if I have the time/patience! But this does bring around another bonus - it makes a good natural looking mascara that separates the lashes perfectly. I find that the look of it lasts pretty well through the day, but can smudge a little underneath. It's also easy to remove, as it's not waterproof.

The Good - cheap, really black, nice brush, really defining, doesn't clump with layering, can give a lot of volume if layered a lot.

The Not so Good - does take a lot of layers to get the volume - could do with more product on wand, writing rubs off packaging.

Would I repurchase? Probably yes, It's pretty versatile being able to give natural and defined or voluptuous lashes all from one mascara!

Who might like this? A lot of people as it's a mascara of many uses!

The Bottom Line - Amazing if you have patience!

Apologies for a lack of a picture of my bare lashes. As I tried to upload it I reached my upload limited. Which is a bit of a disaster, I think I can pay to have more storage for pictures. So I may have to look into how much it costs. I really hope it's not too expensive as blogging is my passion and I look forward to coming home to blog for you all everyday! It's the highlight!

I'll keep you updated on the goings on, promise! H :)
