Review, Swatches & Look: Venomous Cosmetics Loose Powder Shadows

I know, I know, it's Venomous Cosmetics here again. But I really love the products and their great price so can't help but buy them! Today I've got some swatches of the Loose Shadows from the regular line. Most of them are sample size, but a couple are full size so I'll be able to talk about the packaging of both, whoopee! The sample sizes cost just $1 for 1/8 tsp of product. I like sample sizes as I rarely get through a whole eyeshadow and that way I get to try more colours for my money! I'm sure I will get some of these in full sizes oneday, which cost $6.50. All from Venomous Cosmetics!

Review - The Company
Customer Service - I've ordered from Venomous Cosmetics many times and each time found that it's fantastic. I have received upgrades for orders shipped slightly late and great communication. Also when I made two separate orders a couple of days apart I received a partial shipping refund and was told my orders would would be combined - which is great. Also you get free samples with each order.
Prices - Great prices and a nice choice of sizes. I would however prefer to have smaller sizes of the Lip Poisons (gloss) which some Indie brands have - that's being picky though!

The Packaging
Loose Samples are packaged in baggies, which are bigger than you usually get. It would be nice if they would be a little smaller for easier use, but overall it's not the end of the world. Each one has the ingredients and the name written on the outside. They don't however have the collection name on them, but I've taken to writing that on the ingredients sticker! Another thing is that they don't actually have the company name on them anywhere which is rather odd!

Full Size shadows come in little plastic jars with a sifter. It lets a good amount of product out, but I'd still personally rather it wasn't there! Again they don't have company/collection names on them which is a shame. But do have the name and ingredients. However the ingredients list is inside the lid, but you won't be able to read it once you've started using the shadow!

On with the swatches! All over Fyrinnae's Pixie Epoxy :)

Mojave Green - 'Medium Green with green shifts'
This is a shimmery green that has a green base aswell. It is a medium colour like it says and leans slightly towards the army side whilst still being bright. Love it!

Sea Krait - 'Light shimmery blue'
This is a bright sky blue with a pearlized finish. It's brighter and less pastel than the pictures on the site might suggest.

Green Mamba - 'Bright almost acid green'
Very pigmented just like the the rest of the shades. This is a very bright chartreuse green, with obvious yellow tones to it. Really like this too!

Moon Jelly - 'Light lavender shimmer'
I'll be honest I only brought this one because we have moon jellies at work! But actually it's a really nice subtle shade. It's quite a blue toned lavender, with an almost pink shimmer to it. At quick glance it also has tones of silver to it. Lovely :)

Rosie - 'Medium mauve with slight pink and red hilights'
Again this is darker than the pictures on the site would suggest and when I got it I wasn't convinced I'd like it, but it's actually not that bad and being lip safe would look nice pressed over a gloss. Colour descriptions are pretty accurate and shows slightly burgundy.

Sea Anemone - 'Medium purple with bright purple sparkle'
This colour is amazing and bright and sparkly and just wow! Colour wise it's similar to Barry M's Dazzle Dust in 99, both being blue toned, but Sea Anemone has the pink shimmer to it!

Black Mamba - 'Shimmery Charcoal'
Pretty much, it's a lovely pigmented shimmery, not glittery gunmetal colour.

Thai Black - 'Deep black with reflective black sparkle'
This is intensely pigmented as you can probably tell! Just wow, deep deep intense black! The shimmer in it is very subtle and over a matte base so it's very versatile!

Inland Taipan - 'Light Taupe'
Pretty spot-on and leans vaguely champagne. And without sounding weird I swear there something green about it, may just be my madness though!

Deathstalker - 'Light yellowish hilight'
Light yellowy and slightly golden too. The description suggests it would make a good highlight, but I personally think it's a bit too intense for that!

Top Look- Green Mamba, Sea Krait, Mojave Green.

Bottom Look - Sea Anemone, Rosie, Moon Jelly.

Overall I love, love, love these shadows and am really pleased I've got them. I'll definitely be ordering in future and will more than likely share some more swatches with you soon!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you found my post interesting/helpful, but if you have any further questions then don't hesitate to ask! Thanks again, H :)
