Review: Yes to Carrots C Me Smile Lip Butter

I've had this lipbalm for getting on a year, but now that my lips need a little more care with the cold and wind I've started picking this up again and thought it was about time I shared it with you all. These are available from ASOS for £3 in four flavours - Berry, Mint, Melon and Carrot. The one I have to share is Berry. I must say the scent it quite artificial smelling, but pleasant and subtle at the same time. It also can't be tasted which is a definite bonus!

What do I think of the product?
Overall I think this is a great little balm, it's not the best I've tried, but it is the best I've tried that's in stick form. Which makes it great for carrying around in my pocket at work where my hands are way too dirty for potted lipbalms! It applies nicely and feels smooth on the lips, giving a slight sheen - but not too much that the man in your life won't borrow it! It's also one of those balms that not only prevents chapped, dry lips but works really well to get lips back in soft supple condition.

The Ingredients
I thought it was worth taking a minute to list some of the great things this product has got going for it ingredients wise, as I know theres a lot of ladies out there that look for certain things in their products! It is made from natural ingredients, with 95% of them being organic. This shows when reading the ingredients list as the first two ingredients are Coconut Oil and Olive Fruit Oil. with lots of other lovely lip softening ingredients such as Shea Butter and Jojoba Seed Oil too. It is also not tested on animals, paraben, petroleum and phthalate free.

Would I repurchase this? Yes, but only if I was already ordering from a website that sells it, bring it to the UK shops!

Thanks everybody for stopping by to read my post today, I really hope you enjoyed it and found it helpful. But as I always say if you have any questions I haven't answered, don't hesitate to ask! But thanks again for taking the time to visit my bog, H :)

  1. Sounds so much better than Carmex, i feel Carmex makes your lips amazing and so nice but when you stop using it your lips go back to being twice as bad
