Haul + First Impressions: Models Own.

Remember the 50% sale I told you about around a month ago? Well I may have ended up making a rather large order, but it's allowed because it's such a good deal right? That's what I keep telling myself anyway! I'll be honest I wasn't too impressed with the ordering etc, but I understand they were a little busy with the sale. But I'll probably just stick to buying at Boots/ASOS from now on though. But anyway onto the products I got and what I think so far :)

Neon Lip and Face Paint (normal price £5)
I'm going to be honest here, I mainly bought these from curiosity. I was also hoping that they'd make good eyeshadow bases (I know they don't say anything about that) but after swatching these on my hand I'm not so sure, they have a strange texture. The pink one looks reasonable on the lips, but I'm still trying to work out what to do with the orange, blue and yellow. Maybe I'll just keep them for fancy dress, but I'm going to try them out before I settle them too that.

Neon Lip and Face Paint - Blue, Yellow, Orange, Pink

Lip Balm (normal price £5)
This was my guilty pleasure, where I went a bit mad, but at half price I couldn't resist buying them. I already had the pink so I knew I liked the product, and I wasn't disappointed. Although one thing that I think is important to mention is that although the pink one I bought about 6 months ago is insanely pigmented, these are more of a traditional tinted lip balm - still with a good colour. So I don't know if it's just the pink or they've changed the formula. But as I've been on a bit of a tinted lipbalm kick recently they aren't a disappointment.

Lip Balm - Glass, Red Hot, Ballet Pink, Tangerine, Blackberry.

Powder Eyeshadow (normal price £5)
I'm a massive fan of the Barry M Dazzle Dusts, so I wanted to give these a go and see how they compare. The first thing I noticed were that these weren't that true to the colour on the website, I originally thought two of them were matte, but they all have some shimmer/glitter. Not necessarily a bad thing though. The colours are pretty, I'm especially excited to try the Black with Gold sparkle as a liner. Perhaps I'll get a FOTD up if anybodies interested. I haven't actually put these on the eyes yet, but I'm sure I'll get a full review up at some point.

Powder Eyeshadow - Jade Green, White Pearl, Black & Gold Sparkle, Pale Violet.

Sorry if anybody doesn't like haul style posts, but I was a bit excited about my order so I wanted to share, I hope you can forgive me. I also tried to give you some first impressions so give the post more of a meaning, so you'd get something from it.

Thanks for reading the post, if anybody has any questions then don't hesitate to ask and I'll get back to you asap. Also if anybody wanted a review of anything in particular then you just need to ask :) Thanks again, H
